Clearer information before you request electrical work
Use these guides to prepare your request and compare the scope of a project. The final electrical plan and estimate depend on your equipment, property conditions and the work agreed with our team.
What to send for an estimate
Include your name, best contact number, service address and a description of the work. Equipment models, product specifications and existing project plans are helpful. If you send photos, take them from normal viewing positions without removing electrical covers. Tell us when you would like the work completed.
Preparing for an EV charger
Send the charger or mobile charging equipment model, a photo of the parking area and a photo of the closed electrical panel. Tell us where you want the equipment mounted and whether the installation is indoors or outdoors. The electrical capacity and wiring route need review before the installation scope is confirmed.
Planning panel or service work
Explain why you are considering the change: replacement, renovation, new equipment or an inspection finding. Send any written findings and available equipment details. Ask for an estimate that identifies the panel or service equipment, related circuit work, coordination requirements and the items included or excluded.
Comparing backup power options
Begin with the loads you want to support, the equipment you are considering and the proposed installation location. Generator, transfer equipment and battery projects have different requirements. Compare complete scopes, including electrical work and necessary coordination, rather than selecting equipment from a headline price alone.
What affects the price?
Equipment, wiring distance, installation access, existing conditions and the amount of new work affect the estimate. A fixture replacement is different from creating a new circuit or upgrading a service. Troubleshooting may require a diagnostic visit before a repair price can be defined. Request a written scope for the work being compared.
Permits, inspections and coordination
Requirements depend on the project and the local authority. During scope review, confirm whether permits, inspections or utility coordination are needed and who will handle each step. The estimate should identify the agreed responsibilities so scheduling is based on the actual requirements of the work.
Requests, availability and next steps
You can send a preferred date and time through our contact form. We schedule Monday through Saturday, subject to availability. Submitting the form is a service request rather than a confirmed appointment. Our team will contact you to review the details and confirm the next step.
